Not exactly the same article. Manjoo is guessing that Jobs’ legacy is over—he has done everything he could have ever dreamed of doing and it’s time to go. Wired, on the other hand, put up a laundry list of health reasons and says nothing of his accomplishments.
I don’t really want to cause any drama, but I just read a blog post from a highly trafficked and well-respected site today that made me think, “It really is possible to talk and talk and talk some more without really saying or revealing anything new.”
